CVE-2026-63835

Service interruption via leaked OGM aggregation packets

Published Jul 19, 2026 · Updated Jul 19, 2026

Resource leak in the Linux Kernel batman-adv module allows attackers to exhaust memory while disabling a hard interface. During batadv_v_ogm_iface_disable(), batadv_v_ogm_send_meshif() can keep adding skbs after aggregation work stops, so they are never consumed or freed. Published records do not establish the privileges needed to disable the interface; the bounded consequence is resource exhaustion and service interruption.
