Workflow disclosure via unchecked fork-run owner trust
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Authorization bypass in Gitea Actions 1.27.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read private workflows via fork runs. CanReadWorkflowCrossRepo grants collaborative-owner access without excluding fork pull request runs, exposing reusable workflow files at caller-selected Git refs. The run must target a private repository, receive approval, and access another private repository that trusts the base repository's owner; disclosure is confined to configured workflow directories and grants no write access or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
