IP address spoofing in glanceapp Glance 0.8.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass per-IP login lockouts via X-Forwarded-For. With server.proxied enabled, addressOfRequest uses the client-controlled leftmost header value as the failedAuthAttempts map key. Each rotated value resets the apparent source counter, enabling unlimited password guesses against any account reachable through the login endpoint.
