Unauthenticated command execution via terminal proc_open
Published Aug 19, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
OS command injection in terminal-xhr.php in ICEcoder 8.1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via POST requests. The terminal endpoint passes the command parameter directly to proc_open(), while lib/settings.php skips the login die() whenever any password parameter is present and lib/headers.php only enforces CSRF validation when csrf is absent or empty. No credentials or user interaction are required beyond network reachability to the web IDE, and code runs as the web-server user.
