Remote code execution via unvalidated customBasePath
Published Jul 26, 2026 · Updated Jul 26, 2026
Code injection in koxudaxi datamodel-code-generator before 0.70.0 allows remote attackers to execute Python code through a crafted schema. The JSON Schema parser accepts a newline-bearing customBasePath value and emits it verbatim into a generated from-import statement instead of validating a dotted Python identifier path. Execution occurs only when the generated module is imported, with the importing process's privileges.
