Database modification via inconsistent route authorization
Published Jul 22, 2026 · Updated Jul 22, 2026
Improper access control in Regular Labs DB Replacer 1.0.0 through 8.2.7 allows attackers to alter Joomla database data. Administrator routes and replacement requests inconsistently enforce Super User authorization and Joomla request-token validation. A backend user without Super User rights can reach the operation, while a CSRF attack requires an authorized administrator to interact with attacker-controlled content; successful replacement permanently modifies selected database values and can corrupt or compromise the site.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
