CVE-2026-63563Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated address-book modification via disabled web authentication

Published Aug 3, 2026 · Updated Aug 3, 2026

Insecure default authentication in Sharp and Toshiba Tec MFPs allows remote attackers to read and write address-book data over a network. The initial configuration leaves device-web authentication disabled, exposing address-book and Document Filing functions without a login. Exploitation requires network access to an affected non-Japanese-market MFP that retains this setting; documented effects are data access and modification, not a service interrupt.
