CVE-2026-63459Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator session compromise via live innerHTML parsing

Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 21, 2026

Stored XSS in Vendure before 3.6.5 allows remote authenticated users to compromise an administrator session through a crafted description. RichTextDescriptionCell assigns administrator-controlled descriptions to a live element's innerHTML before reading textContent, allowing resource event handlers to execute during parsing. A lower-privilege administrator must store the markup and another administrator must view an affected list, after which the script can access the viewer's session and perform administrative actions.
