Authenticated code execution via CLI path traversal
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Path traversal in HPE AOS-CX affected releases allows remote authenticated users to copy arbitrary operating-system files over the network. The affected CLI file-copy operation fails to constrain supplied paths to an authorized directory and places selected files in a user-readable location. Successful exploitation requires high-privilege authentication and exposes file content usable to achieve remote code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=10.13.0000 <=10.13.1180
