Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026
XSS in Siemens SIMATIC S7-1500 Trace pages allows attackers to execute browser JavaScript through imported CSV files. The Trace page renders calculated signal data without properly sanitizing it. Exploitation requires an authorized user with Read diagnostics rights to import a crafted file; the script performs PLC operations only within that user's authorization.
