OS command execution via unescaped grep keyword
Published Jul 16, 2026 · Updated Jul 16, 2026
OS command injection in AVideo 29.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through an encrypted API payload. In listFFmpegProcesses(), raw keyword data reaches a single-quoted grep expression without escaping before exec() invokes the shell. Exploitation requires a valid APISecret and current encrypted codeToExec payload; commands run as the web-server user and can access or alter site data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
