Local file disclosure via restored SQL data mappings
Published Oct 5, 2026 · Updated Oct 5, 2026
Local file inclusion in LibreOffice Calc 26.2 before 26.2.5 allows attackers to read local text files through crafted spreadsheets. When Calc restores a document's SQL data mapping, its flat-file database reference treats a local folder as a database and imports text-file contents into the sheet. A user must open the crafted document, and the files must be readable by that user's LibreOffice process; the advisory does not establish automatic transmission to an attacker.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
