Local-file reads and GET requests via CSV links
Published Oct 5, 2026 · Updated Oct 5, 2026
External CSV links in LibreOffice Calc 26.2.0 through 26.2.4 let remote attackers trigger local-file reads via a crafted spreadsheet. The calcext:data-mappings CSV provider fetched document-specified file or HTTP URLs during loading without applying spreadsheet link-update controls. Opening the untrusted spreadsheet is required; local file contents enter the sheet, while HTTP links send GET requests to attacker-selected hosts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
