Account takeover via UUID-only 2FA validation
Published Jul 29, 2026 · Updated Jul 29, 2026
Authentication bypass in Three Learning Koollab LMS 5.3.2 allows remote attackers to take over any account through the 2FA endpoint. The 2FA validation endpoint accepts a valid user UUID as sufficient proof of identity without first verifying the account's primary credentials. Unauthenticated network access and a valid target UUID are sufficient to obtain the target user's session, including an administrator session.
