Account impersonation via replayable persistent authentication tokens
Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026
Persistent token replay in Omnispace Agora-Project before 26.10.0 allows remote attackers to impersonate users without passwords. The userConnectionSpaceSelection() authentication path accepts cookie tokens by direct equality with database values, making stored tokens replayable despite hashing during token creation. Exploitation requires disclosure of an existing token, such as through a database or backup leak, and grants the victim account's access.
