Unauthorized space access via unchecked access-right insertion
Published Oct 13, 2026 · Updated Oct 13, 2026
Authorization bypass in Agora-Project before 26.10.0 allows remote authenticated users to enter restricted spaces via crafted requests. The setAffectations() function inserts access-right records for a caller-supplied target space without verifying the caller has rights to that space. Authentication is required, but existing access to the target space is not; assigning access rights across space boundaries breaks tenant isolation.
