JSON-file tampering via unchecked label paths
Published Oct 15, 2026 · Updated Oct 15, 2026
Path traversal in EspoCRM before 9.3.10 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to alter JSON files via Label Manager. LabelManager accepts language and scope values without restricting them to path basenames, and the Language utility incorporates them into JSON-file paths outside the intended directory. Administrator access is required, and reading, creating, modifying, or deleting JSON files is limited by server configuration and filesystem permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
