Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026

Missing authentication in FOSSASIA Open Event Server 1.19.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to export complete group rosters via its REST API. The group followers CSV export route accepts a group identifier without an authentication decorator, while the task-status route returns the completed download URL without authentication. Any network client that can reach the API can enumerate sequential group identifiers and retrieve member names, email addresses, join dates, and roles.
