Authorization bypass in Axelor Open Platform 8.0.0 through 8.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator privileges. Resource.checkRelationalPermissions checks only CAN_WRITE for nested User records, while JPA replaces attacker-supplied role and group collections and flushes them on commit. Exploitation requires write access to a User and a related model, and it permits assigning the administrator role to any user.
