CVE-2026-63038Network attack vector

SQL injection via unescaped schema creation

Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026

SQL injection in InLong Manager in Apache InLong before 2.4.0 allows attackers to execute arbitrary SQL via crafted metadata fields. The buildCreateSchema routine assembles a PostgreSQL CREATE SCHEMA ... AUTHORIZATION statement by concatenating schemaName and user directly into SQL text without escaping or strict identifier validation, and Apache states dbName and tableName inputs are also injectable. Reachability depends on exposure of the affected Manager operations and any application access they require, but successful control of those parameters can execute statements against the backend database.
