Sandboxed code execution via Video use-after-free
Published Apr 15, 2026 · Updated Apr 15, 2026
Use-after-free in Google Chrome Video before 147.0.7727.101 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code in the sandbox via crafted HTML. Public records identify the Video component but keep the underlying Chromium issue restricted, so the freed object's specific lifetime error and code locus remain undisclosed. A target must load attacker-controlled HTML; successful exploitation executes code only within Chrome's sandbox, with no published sandbox escape for this flaw.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
