Authenticated config changes via missing admin checks
Published Aug 20, 2026 · Updated Aug 20, 2026
Missing authorization in Apache InLong before 2.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to create or alter packages through Manager APIs. In manager-web, PackageController and ModuleController exposed save, update, and delete handlers without the INLONG_ADMIN role check that the fix added with @RequiresRoles(INLONG_ADMIN). Reachability requires a valid Manager account, and the published impact is unauthorized package upload and operational configuration changes rather than demonstrated code execution or data theft from this flaw alone.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
