Sandboxed code execution via TurboFan type confusion
Published Apr 15, 2026 · Updated Apr 15, 2026
Type confusion in TurboFan in Google Chrome before 147.0.7727.101 allows remote attackers to execute code in its sandbox via crafted HTML. Google has not disclosed the TurboFan operation that confuses object types or the malformed input that reaches it. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted page, and the resulting code execution remains confined to Chrome's sandbox absent a separate escape.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
