Authenticated command execution via unterminated allowlist regex
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
OS command injection in digint btrbk 0.29.0 through 0.32.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on backup targets. The ssh_filter_btrbk.sh allow_stream_match regular expression anchors only the start of SSH_ORIGINAL_COMMAND, so a valid btrbk prefix followed by a pipe and command passes the allowlist. Only authorized_keys forced-command deployments using this script are exposed, and injected commands run with the backup-target SSH account's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
