Cross-organization access via reused ACL token
Published Apr 15, 2026 · Updated Apr 15, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Rapid7 Velociraptor 0.76 before 0.76.3 and 0.75 before 0.75.8 allows remote authenticated users to query other orgs. The server-side query() plugin accepts a target organization while reusing the notebook user's current ACL token instead of verifying access to that organization. Exposure requires a Linux deployment that relies on organization separation to restrict untrusted GUI users; resulting queries retain the user's source-organization permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
