Reflected XSS via unescaped AJAX id parameter
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Reflected XSS in Nayra Themes EventPress before 22.2 allows remote attackers to execute script in a logged-in user's browser. The eventpress_customizer_notify_dismiss_action AJAX handler returns the unsanitized and unescaped id parameter as HTML, causing supplied script to execute. Exploitation requires a logged-in user to follow a crafted URL, after which attacker-supplied JavaScript runs in that user's browser context.
