Authentication bypass in Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2.5 and 2.6 allows remote authenticated users to hijack existing accounts. The AAP gateway user auto-link strategy treats an external identity provider's email claim as proof of ownership and binds that identity to the matching local user. Exploitation requires a valid external identity provider account and a manipulated email claim; a match grants the victim's privileges, including administrative access.
