Administrative privilege escalation via manipulated web requests
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Authorization bypass in Siemens Reyrolle 7SR5 before 2.70 allows remote authenticated users to obtain administrative privileges. The web-based management interface accepts manipulated request data without consistently enforcing server-side RBAC checks. A low-privileged account and network access to the management interface are required; successful exploitation grants administrative control over the relay.
