Authentication bypass via exposed session identifiers
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Authentication bypass in Siemens Reyrolle 7SR5 before 2.70 allows remote attackers to gain unauthorized device access via its web interface. The web interface exposes information from which current and past session ID numbers can be calculated. Network access to the HTTPS WebUI is sufficient, and a calculated identifier grants access to functions intended for authenticated users.
