Unauthenticated takeover via CORBA interface
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Security flaw in Oracle Reports Developer 14.1.2.0.0 allows remote attackers to take over the service via CORBA requests. Oracle places the issue in the Security and Authentication component but has not published the affected CORBA handler or the wrong operation it performs on untrusted input. Exposure requires unauthenticated network reachability to the CORBA endpoint, and Oracle rates the result as complete compromise of the Reports Developer instance.
