Unauthenticated data read and modification
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Authentication flaw in Oracle Reports Developer 14.1.2.0.0 allows physically proximate attackers to read and modify data via adjacent-network CORBA access. Oracle describes the issue only as a vulnerability in the Security and Authentication component and does not disclose the affected code path or the incorrect operation on untrusted CORBA input. Exposure requires access to the physical communication segment attached to the host running Reports Developer, and Oracle states that successful attacks can read or modify all application-accessible data and may affect additional products.
