Unauthenticated takeover from adjacent segment
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Authentication flaw in Oracle Reports Developer 14.1.2.0.0 allows physically proximate attackers to take over the service via adjacent-segment access. Oracle has not published the affected request path or the broken authentication operation beyond placing the issue in the Security and Authentication component. Exposure is limited to environments where attackers can reach the attached communications segment, but no credentials or user interaction are required and successful exploitation yields full compromise.
