Unauthenticated remote takeover
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Security flaw in Oracle Reports Developer 14.1.2.0.0 allows remote attackers to take over the service via TCP access to its authentication component. Oracle describes the affected locus only as the Security and Authentication component and has not disclosed the specific code path or the unsafe operation it performs on untrusted input. No authentication or user interaction is required, so any deployment that exposes the TCP-reachable Reports Developer service is directly exposed to full confidentiality, integrity, and availability compromise.
