Unauthenticated remote takeover
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Improper access control in Oracle Reports Developer 12.2.1.19.0 allows remote attackers to take over the product through IIOP. Oracle identifies the affected locus only as the Security and Authentication component and has not disclosed the faulty operation or request structure. No authentication or user interaction is required; network reachability to the IIOP service is sufficient, and a successful attack compromises confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
