Authenticated takeover via CORBA auth flaw
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Authentication flaw in Oracle Reports Developer 12.2.1.19.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over the service via CORBA. Oracle describes the issue only as a Security and Authentication vulnerability reachable over CORBA and does not identify the affected class, handler, or trust check that mishandles low-privileged requests. Reachability requires valid low-privileged network access to the CORBA interface; Oracle’s changed-scope CVSS indicates the resulting compromise can extend beyond the Reports Developer instance.
