Authenticated application takeover
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Privilege escalation in Oracle Cost Management in Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2.3 through 12.2.15 allows remote authenticated users to take over the application via HTTP. Oracle has disclosed only that the flaw is in the Cost Planning component and has not published the affected endpoint, function, or unsafe operation on attacker-controlled input. Reachability requires valid high-privilege application credentials and HTTP access to the E-Business Suite instance; public exploit code and in-the-wild exploitation were not identified in the inspected primary sources.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
