Authenticated application takeover
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Privilege escalation in Oracle Applications Framework 12.2.11 through 12.2.15 allows remote authenticated users to take over the application via HTTP. Oracle has not disclosed the vulnerable Web Utilities function or the incorrect operation it performs on attacker-controlled input. A low-privileged application account and network access to the HTTP service are required; successful exploitation grants full control of the framework.
