Authenticated critical-data read and modification
Published Jul 21, 2026 · Updated Jul 21, 2026
Access control failure in Oracle Installed Base 12.2.4 through 12.2.15 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter critical data via HTTP. Oracle has not published the request fields, code path, or failed authorization operation in the Create Item Instance component. A low-privileged account and network access to the HTTP interface are required; successful exploitation affects confidentiality and integrity but does not interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
