Host compromise via unsynchronized vNUMA cleanup

Race condition in Xen 4.5 and later allows attackers controlling a guest device model to crash the host, disclose data, or gain host privileges. During domain destruction, vNUMA configuration cleanup is not synchronized with retrieval by the guest's device model, permitting access after teardown begins. Exploitation requires vNUMA-enabled guests and control of their device model; on x86, only HVM guests expose the condition, while effects range from host-wide interruption and disclosure to host privilege escalation.
