Authorization bypass in Canonical LXD allows remote authenticated users to evade target project restrictions during clustered migrations. The destination's instances_post handler classifies a cross-member move as a cluster notification and skips limits.AllowInstanceCreation. Project-level access to an unrestricted source and create permission on a restricted target are required; a disallowed raw.lxc hook then executes host-root commands when the migrated instance starts.
