CVE-2026-62293Public exploit

Stored XSS via unescaped scan report fields

Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026

Stored XSS in HAPI FHIR before 6.9.11 allows attackers to execute JavaScript by opening a scan report built from a malicious IG. Scanner.java concatenates IG titles, profile titles, and source references into scan.html without HTML escaping. Exploitation requires a user to scan attacker-supplied content and then open or publish the report, exposing the report browser context.
