Unauthenticated admin access via hardcoded bootstrap password
Published Oct 7, 2026 · Updated Oct 7, 2026
Hardcoded credentials in the coordinator of QXIP BV HOMER before 11.0.283 allow remote attackers to gain admin access through the login endpoint. At startup, EnsureBootstrapAdminUser inserts an admin account with the same SHA-256 hash of sipcapture on fresh internal-authentication deployments, and legacy hash verification accepts that password. Exposure requires a reachable login endpoint and an unchanged bootstrap credential; successful login yields an administrative session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
