Internal service data disclosure via unchecked redirects
Published Jul 13, 2026 · Updated Jul 13, 2026
SSRF in CrewAI scrape tools before 1.15.1 allows remote attackers to read internal services through attacker-controlled URLs. The validate_url guard resolves and blocklists only the supplied hostname, returns the original URL, and requests.get follows redirects without revalidating their destinations. Exploitation requires an agent to process an attacker-influenced URL, enabling disclosure of internal service data or cloud metadata credentials.
