CVE-2026-62236Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Forced 2FA re-enrollment via nonce-free GET

Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026

CSRF in grav-plugin-login before 3.8.11 allows remote attackers to rotate a logged-in user's TOTP secret through an off-site GET. The login.regenerate2FASecret task accepts Grav's GET task URI without a nonce or origin check, creates a new secret, and saves it to the session user. Exploitation requires enabled 2FA, an enrolled user with an active session, and a cookie policy other than SameSite=Strict; the bounded impact is forced 2FA re-enrollment.
