Authenticated module disclosure and modification via missing authorization
Published May 7, 2026 · Updated May 7, 2026
Missing authorization in WPMU DEV Forminator Forms 1.51.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to export or alter module data. The processRequest() method accepts a caller-selected forminator_action after validating only a nonce exposed on Forminator admin pages, without checking manage_forminator_modules. Subscriber-level or custom roles with Templates or Reports access can export configurations, delete modules or entries, clone modules, and change publication state.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
