CVE-2026-62198Network attack vector

Information disclosure via web-search policy bypass

Published Jul 13, 2026 · Updated Jul 13, 2026

Incorrect authorization in native web search in OpenClaw 2026.5.28 through 2026.6.5 allows remote authenticated users to read data. Native web search fails to apply the effective tool policy when lower-trust configured input reaches it, permitting calls that require stronger authorization. The feature must be enabled and reachable; the published impact is limited to unauthorized disclosure, not modification or service interruption.
