CVE-2026-62195Network attack vector

Owner-only tool execution via unchecked MCP loopback

Published Jul 13, 2026 · Updated Jul 13, 2026

Authorization bypass in OpenClaw 2026.5.20 through 2026.6.5 allows remote authenticated users to invoke owner-only MCP tools. The MCP loopback path exposes owner-only tools to lower-trust runs without enforcing the requester's authorization boundary. Exploitation requires the feature to be enabled and reachable from a lower-trust input path, enabling unauthorized execution or persistent actions.
