Code execution via unescaped agents_file interpolation
Published Oct 7, 2026 · Updated Oct 7, 2026
Code injection in PraisonAI before 4.6.78 allows remote authenticated users to execute Python code through a crafted agents_file value. The deploy/api.py generator inserts that value directly into Python source, then writes and launches the generated server with subprocess.Popen(). Exploitation requires control of the deployment input through a CLI argument, configuration, or an upstream API; the injected code runs on the deployment host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
