CVE-2026-6217Network attack vector

Protected-value recovery via unsalted one-way hashing

Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026

Unsalted one-way hashing in Pik Online Portal 3.5.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to perform cryptanalysis. The portal hashes an undisclosed input without adding a salt, making repeated values susceptible to precomputed comparisons; the CNA does not identify the affected component or protected data. Exploitation requires low-privileged network access and user interaction, and successful cryptanalysis can recover the undisclosed protected values without interrupting service.
