Stored XSS via unsanitized SVG icon rendering
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Stored XSS in DbGate 7.1.0 through 7.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted application icon. FontIcon.svelte recognizes SVG-prefixed icon strings and inserts iconValue through Svelte's raw HTML directive without sanitization. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to store an applicationIcon value and another user to view a matching application or database entry, modifying content in that user's session.
